Ban works at the Global Wealth and Investment Management of Merrill Lynch.

Ban graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics and International Relations and has an M.B.A. in International Finance from George Washington University. Ban joined the Global Wealth Management of Merrill Lynch in 1999. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, his fifteen years of experience was in trade finance, international banking and foreign exchange.

Ban lives in Springfield, VA with his wife, Renee, and his two daughters, Melanie and Ashley. He is a frequent lecturer at local companies, universities, and non-profit organizations, speaking on subjects such as retirement planning, estate wealth protection and transfer, and concentrated stock diversification strategies. In his spare time, Ban enjoys gardening, music, reading and is an avid marathon and triathlon participant.
